Co-Host

T-Bone

About the Co-Host

Veteran West Coast rapper, T-Bone has set the rap game ablaze with rapid spittin’/tongue-twistin’ skillz. His mission is to illuminate the darkness that has descended upon Hip Hop with his mind-boggling versatility and gritty messages of positivity. With seven CD’s of his own, he has rocked the mic alongside righteous artists from Kirk Franklin to Yolanda Adams and collaborated with mainstream artists like KRS-One and Mack 10. He was born and raised in the Mission District of Northern California. His father is from Nicaragua and his mother is from El Salvador. Though his parents were both pastors, he got caught up in the gang world until tragic circumstances caused him to flip what he was rapping about and turn his life over to God. He says that Hip Hop is the language of the streets, God is the language of Love, and he mixes the two together to form amazing results.

Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15, the anniversary of independence for five Latin American countries—Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico declared its independence on September 16, and Chile on September 18. The term Hispanic, as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, refers to Spanish-speaking people in the United States of any race. On the 2000 Census form, people of Spanish/Hispanic/Latino origin could identify themselves as Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, or "other” (Spanish/Hispanic/Latino). More than 35 million people identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino on the 2000 Census.
